"I Can't Help Dropping Them Books... Sorry"

To the library my Bunny walked & hobbled ....
Bunny:  "Hmmm....what book should i read today...?"
"Spy!"
There goes the stiff index finger towards the particular book....
Ok, managed to pull one corner out...
Now, to hold it with the thumb & the rest of the fingers...
Yes!  managed to....Now let's pull it out...
"PLOP!"
"Hmmmm?  what happened? Wasn't i holding it...?!!!"
Nevermind, let's pick it up.
1st attempt:  "THUD!"
2nd attempt: successful

Next book....."Thid-THUD!"
1st attempt: "plOP"
2nd attempt: successss.....hmmmm No! "Phlap"
3rd attempt: successful...thankfully..

To the 3rd book now...well you can guess, what happened again..
These got the attention of one of the librarians...
As Bunny told me, he was being followed & monitored throughout the time he was at the library...
Bunny paid no hew to the librarian...
How could one explain to them....
Bunny looked like any normal adult/man/person there...
Do You think the librarian would really believe Bunny if he were to try to explain...
"Oh, sorry, I have *RA.  It is called Rheuma.... & it affects my joints, etc..yada-yada-yada"
I don't think so... only that Bunny is trying to be funny & destroy public properties.

This helps me look at some things in a different light.  Can't jumped to conclusion now whenever you noticed any normal person behaving or performing something so simple in an unexpected way; sometimes weird way...

Most days are spent at the library now since Bunny can no longer perform any heavy duty work.
Yes, one can say that the "suspected invisible *RA" (well for now i have to state as "suspected *RA") has robbed Bunny off his re-found passion; working as a part-time waiter.....during his self-proclaimed semi-retired state.
Since excercising is no longer in the daily equation of activities as well, walking seemed to be the easiest & simplest thing to do...
What Bunny was experiencing above is the suspected **Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
During good days (meaning 24/7 of bearable pain & stiffness), Bunny will head off to the library after lunch or late breakfast...

  1. *"RA"= Rheumy (moniker) = Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA Warriors-Do I have Rheumy???)
  2. ** Carpal Tunnel Syndrome = a common disorder of the wrist & hand characterized by pain, tingling, numbness & muscular weakness, caused by pressure on the median nerve in the wrist area & often associated with trauma, rheumatoid arthritis or edema of pregnancy. That's how it goes.
These are some of the things which have become a normal occurence in our lives since late 2012.
These are little simple things which RA Warriors have to learn to live with .....
When days are bad or like they say when the flares start to kick in fervently, the situation is worse than the above.
I'll still say, i would never have the complete understanding of what Bunny is going through.
Monkey here can only see the suffering in his eyes...
The frustration...!!!
The desperation there ....
The hopelessness ....
Monkey will do the best to console him emotionally & spiritually ...
To give my best to boost his morale...
(i think i am getting emotional & going off tangent here......will talk more about these some other time)

This day was the first time bunny experienced stiff jaw.  Bunny was hungry but have to make do with soft bread for lunch.  Already had softened cereal for breakfast.  Supposed to meet up with Mama Tiger & Papa Goat for lunch but today's situation wasn't too good.  Bunny doesn't want me to come home to feed him since there's nothing concrete that can be done at that time.  Thankfully there was the nice soft bread for him.

So after work around 1900 hrs, i bought a nice warm beancurd from Mr Bean for Bunny since Bunny complained bread wasn't enough & was still hungry.  Fed Bunny beancurd to curb his hunger while Monkey prepared our daily pasta salad...(pasta, canned sardine in olive oil, julienned raw cabbage & chopped raw garlic; tossed with black pepper, SinSin ginger, garlic & chilli sauce & some vinegar. It's good, flavorful & pretty quick to prepare.)

Thankfully, the stiffness of the jaw has slacken.  Bunny were able to chew his pasta salad albeit very slow.....& satiated despite other pains in his body.  Then it's dessert time!!!

Thinly sliced China Fuji apple for my bunny.....as dessert.  They love it!  Me too...Usually we share an apple together without slicing.  Special only for this day...March 10th 2013.

At Last I Set It In Motion

At last i set it in motion ....

Yesterday March 9th saw my bunny being treated well by nature.  Well at least, till about 16oo hrs.
No pain but just slight discomfort for almost more than half of the day.  I was very relieved & glad for bunny.

However, from 1600 hours, "show grins" *{Sjogren syndrome} decided to rear it's head for the day.  "Here i come", it quipped.
Bunny has learned to recognise the symptoms of "show grins" already.  So was somehow accustomed to its mischievous appearance.  Dry eyes & dry mouth.  Bunny always feel dehydrated....

Something new kind of emerged yesterday...
Last evening, when bunny was about to enjoy his home-made dinner by me, he pointed out that *RA (rheumy) has travelled to the back of his 2 jaw joints, behind both his ears, neck, both shoulder joints, both shoulder blades & the area of the ribs below both armpits.  Jaw felt a bit stiff...
Thankfully though bunny was able to chew through delicious his pasta salad.

Only sad thing is bunny had a feeling that the night would be a long night for him....
